Edfest is the grown-up bash for Edison Elementary, where we get together to celebrate the year and raise funds for the next school year.
All donations go straight to the Edison PTA's general fund.
The Edison PTA's general fund supports various student enrichment and education aspects:
It covers transportation costs for student field trips
Provides scholarships for after-school tutoring to assist students who need additional academic support
Offers scholarships for before/after enrichment clubs
Funds teacher accounts for supplies throughout the year
Supports educator appreciation week
Organizes celebrations for students
Pays for subscriptions to extra educational software
And much more!
EdFest Event Sponsorships, Ticket Sales, Game Sales, and Auction Bids go to the Edison PTA General Fund.
We're thrilled to have your support for EdFest 2024 and the creation of class baskets or experience auction items. These items play a crucial role in Edison's PTA fundraising efforts, helping to raise funds for the General PTA budget for the upcoming 24-25 school year.
Themed Class Baskets: Each class could contribute a themed basket filled with items related to a specific theme, such as "Family Game Night," "Outdoor Adventure," "Spa Day," or "Movie Night." Encourage creativity and participation from students, parents, and teachers to make the baskets unique and appealing.
Experiences: Offer one-of-a-kind experiences that attendees can bid on, such as a private cooking class with a local chef, a behind-the-scenes tour of a nearby attraction or business, a personalized art workshop with a talented artist, a day at the Rockies (Rockies tickets, gift card to a restaurant by the ballpark, lyft gift card to get to the game), A night of Euchre (bid to play with your other Edison Community at a night of Euchre (one class is doing this already..whoohoo), Wine Tasting with a local sommelier, A night at the Gaylord (get gift cards for the gaylord and other things), a day at the wild life sanctuary. Host themed parties or events that attendees can bid on, such as a themed dinner party, a wine tasting event, a themed costume party, or a DIY craft night.

Spread the word to your class
Collect items or money to make your basket or experience
Drop off your baskets to Edison by May 10-13.
Fill out the form of what your basket is going to be so the PTA can start to organize and advertise how cool it is! https://forms.gle/X7a6TqKs2fHiB3TX8
Fill out basket/experience form to let the PTA know what the basket or experience includes and the value of the basket. This allows the PTA to put the item on the auction site and gives us an idea of how to price the auction item.
